An extraordinary conference, exciting martial arts demonstrations, enchanting singing performances and a relaxing tea ceremony: a journey of wisdom and harmony, as part of the celebrations for the 700 years since the death of Marco Polo and in the magical year of the Green Wooden Dragon. The Shaolin Masters have arrived at the Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort in Venice, at the invitation of the White Tiger Academy of Mirano and the Municipality of Mirano.
A bridge between East and West, through a journey discovering balance and awareness in the company of great experts in the field of martial arts. The association "The new ways of Marco Polo" proposes, in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, the International Center Tigre Bianca Academy of Chinese Martial Arts, and Stefania Stea of the Hotel Ca' Nigra, an initiative that allowed live martial arts performances to be admired also thanks to the participation of the master Jiao Hongmin, known throughout the world, Pietro Biasucci, founder of the White Tiger Center, and Wang Weiqiang, director of the Song Yang Shaolin Academy Wushu.
In addition to martial arts, the ritual of the tea ceremony, demonstrations of Chinese calligraphic art and a singing performance took place.
